Getting to Rangiroa

Situated 217 miles northeast of Tahiti, Rangiroa is accessible by boat or by plane. Just a one hour flight from Tahiti-Faa’a International Airport, the biggest atoll in French Polynesia is a jewel in the Tuamotu Islands. The airport is on the main motu, Avatoru, and is close to the village and most accommodations. If you prefer the gentler pace of marine travel, then two companies will take you to Rangiroa on an unforgettable voyage.
