Rangiroa - Avatoru

The Rangiroa Pro is a professional surfing competition and part of the QS ranking system for almost 80 local and international surfers. The competition is held at Avatoru Pass in the north of Rangiroa in March. Surfers compete with each other in warm, crystal clear water. The waves formed by the reef are almost perfect tubes when the conditions are right.
