The Most Instagram Worthy Experiences in The Islands of Tahiti

May 8, 2022 in Experience

1. Lounging at Your Bora Bora Overwater Bungalow

This is a must have shot The Islands of Tahiti are the birthplace of the overwater bungalow – the original and still the best! But did you know there are bungalows on islands in addition to Bora Bora? You can find them in many places in The Islands of Tahiti. While lounging in your bungalow over the lagoon is not to be missed, there are many other types of lodging that offer great experiences – from Tahitian Guesthouses to villas, and other types of rooms – very private and intimate garden bungalows, sunny beach bungalows and more! Just don’t forget your flower crown!

2. Swimming with Sharks and Rays

Curious reef sharks and graceful rays glide by in the shallow lagoons all around The Islands of Tahiti. While you can swim with these creatures in many places, here the water is so crystal clear that every shot ends up jaw-dropping. And, the fact that The Islands of Tahiti has no crowds and the word “overtourism” doesn’t exist here means you never have to crop anyone else out of your frames!

3. The Yacht Shot

Nothing says luxury like sailing on your own private catamaran. It’s your overwater bungalow, swimming with rays tour, interisland transportation, and private culinary experience all in one! You can stop in any little motu (tiny island) you want and have your private picnic in the sand. Then return to your ship for an afternoon of sun and champagne.
