December 8, 2020, Los Angeles – The Islands of Tahiti, which fully re-opened to tourism in July 2020, launched the Tahiti Specialist Program at its annual Tahiti Specialist Conference today.
The online program, which is now live, will support travel advisors by providing incentive-based opportunities to start booking travel to The Islands of Tahiti in the coming months. The official launch is a highlight of Tahiti Tourisme United States’ virtual Tahiti Specialist Conference, a three-day program consisting of educational sessions, a tradeshow, product training sessions, small group sessions, and 1:1 meetings.
Designed to excite and engage, the Tahiti Specialist Program invites members of industry to participate in a rewards-style program that incentivizes agents to not just sell the destination, but to immerse themselves in it. In addition to ongoing destination training and booking support, as advisors progress through the various levels of the program, they will be rewarded with opportunities that include luxury and small group FAMs.
Tahiti Tourisme United States Managing Director Kristin Carlson said of the new Tahiti Specialist Program, “This innovative new platform will ensure our advisors receive the best possible resources and are able to achieve higher levels of engagement with the destination on behalf of their clients. In this challenging time for our industry, this program will cultivate elite advisors that have every possible advantage in selling the destination to clients who are looking for a safe, remote, and unforgettable travel experience.”
Travel advisors who are interested in becoming a Certified Tahiti Specialist are invited to explore the Tahiti Specialist Program by visiting www.TahitiSpecialist.org and registering to join.
