Pension Taitaa

After renovation of the living space and 5 bedrooms (with private shower room, fan, mosquito net, terrace overlooking the garden), your stay will be truly comfortable. You'll also find some of the house's specialties. Nathalie, who has a bakery diploma, will invite you to sample her brioche and pastries. At breakfast you can enjoy fresh fruit, jams, juices and homemade yoghurts. Likewise, our local cuisine, influenced by European cuisine, will tantalize your taste buds.
You can enjoy a vast garden dotted with fruit trees, cool off in the swimming pool, relax in front of the TV, play board games, pétanque or badminton. We also rent bicycles (€8 per stay) for tours of the island (26 km). We also have children’s bikes (free) and bikes with child seats. We also offer hikes, including the not-to-be-missed Mount Taitaa and L’Homme Couché (with guide). A day on the motu for snorkeling and kayaking, while Narii prepares delicious local dishes such as raw fish and ipo (coconut bread).
Our flagship activity is a combo tour of the island + visits to marae and artisans, allowing you to meet local people directly. From August to October, we offer whale watching.
