Tahiti Tourisme North America Enhances Travel Agent Specialist Program

Tahiti Tourisme North America announces the re-launch of their travel agent focused programs.
The Tahiti Tiare Program™ is Tahiti Tourisme North America's destination specialist program. The program is available to all qualified travel professionals in the U.S. and Canada at no cost. The website offers complimentary access to the Tahiti Tiare Program™ and a comprehensive training program leading to the status of Certified Tahiti Specialist®.
The re-energized program will provide a simplified registration process for agents, new online destination training, and streamlined requirements to become a Certified Tahiti Specialist. The improvements to the programs were implemented to provide today’s travel agents and, in turn, their customers, access to robust knowledge and training in order for agents to provide the right product to their customers’ preferred travel style.
Additional program improvements include implementation of a tiered rewards program for active agents (slated to launch in 2014), the re-launch of the Tiare News - the dedicated newsletter for agents enrolled in the Tahiti Tiare Program, live webinars for agents who cannot attend in-person workshops and Tahiti Tourisme representatives will be conducting in-agency visits for in-depth destination training.

Within the Tahiti Tiare Program there are two levels for agents - a Tahiti Tiare Agent® is a travel professional who has enrolled in the Tahiti Tiare Program, yet has not yet successfully completed all the requirements of becoming a Certified Tahiti Specialist. A Certified Tahiti Specialist is a travel agent who has successfully completed the Tahiti Tiare Program and requirements. The program is free to sign up and available to all qualified travel agents in the United States, Canada and Mexico. There are no membership or program fees to join the Tahiti Tiare Program.
Benefits of enrolling in the Tahiti Tiare Program include receiving Tiare News, access to exclusive offers for Tahiti Tiare Agents and access to Tahiti related collateral.
Becoming a Certified Tahiti Specialist feature the following benefits: a certificate recognizing the successful completion of the destinations’ specialist program and great Tahiti expertise, a Certified Tahiti Specialist logo for use in advertising and collateral materials; complimentary listing on the Tahiti Tourisme North America consumer website, where consumers have the possibility to look up agents based on their location; consumer leads from the Tahiti Tourisme North America website, where consumers can custom design their trip on the website using the Trip Planner (the quote request is then sent to a Certified Tahiti Specialist on a random basis); and finally benefits include privileged access to familiarization trips, seminars and events sponsored by Tahiti Tourisme North America or its partners, special rates and offers.
