The Islands of Tahiti Takes Multiple Top Honors in the Scuba Diving Magazine’s 2017 Top 100 Readers Choice Awards

 
LOS ANGELES – January 10, 2016 – The Islands of Tahiti came in first place in Scuba Diving magazine’s 2017 Top 100 Readers Choice Awards in the Pacific/Indian Ocean category. The diverse destination ranked number one in the overall diving in the Pacific/Indian Oceans category besting Indonesia, Hawaii, Philippines and Thailand to take the coveted spot.
 
Boasting 118 islands and atolls across five archipelagoes, Tahitian islands know for world class dive sites include Tahiti, Moorea, Raiatea, Taha’a, Huahine, Bora Bora, Rangiroa, Manihi, Fakarava, Tikehau, Nuku Hiva, Rurutu—to name a few.

The awards were determined by thousands of Scuba Diving magazine subscribers and online users that rated their experiences at dive destinations in a variety of categories on a scale of one to five. Final scores are an average of the numerical scores awarded. A minimum number of responses were required for a destination to be included in these ratings.
